Ashraf Uwais is a seasoned finance leader with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, financial strategy, and group-level governance across diversified sectors. As the Finance Director and Acting CFO of Sawaeed Holding PJSC, an ADX-listed company, he oversees the Group’s financial planning, consolidation, treasury, statutory compliance, and enterprise-level financial operations across nine subsidiaries.
Before joining Sawaeed Holding, Ashraf held senior roles in major UAE corporations, including Al Ghurair Group and Raibal Holding, where he led multi-entity consolidation, ERP transformation, liquidity management, and strategic financial planning. His deep expertise spans IFRS reporting, corporate tax, VAT, investment accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit oversight, managing complex audit engagements in coordination with leading global audit firms and ensuring strong governance across all business units.
Ashraf holds a Master of Business in Accounting & Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Yarmouk University, Jordan. He is also a Certified Finance and Treasury Professional (CFTP) with hands-on experience in advanced financial systems including SAP (FICO/BPC), Oracle, and other enterprise reporting platforms.
